Question:

Can I adopt a stray animal from the Animal Shelter?
Answer:

Yes, individuals wishing to adopt an animal from the Rowlett Animal Shelter may visit the shelter to become acquainted with the animal.  If it is determined that you and the animal are compatible, you must then submit a current driver license with the correct home address.  Once your name and address has been validated you can become a pet owner!

The animal shelter reserves the right to refuse adoption.  All adoptions are done on a first-come-first-serve basis.  The Animal Shelter does not approve adoptions over the phone and it does not hold animals.

For additional information about the animal adoption process please call 972-412-6219.
